I didn't see your post in the Sweepstakes forum as that is not a forum that I visit. However, there is a rule here on flyertalk that prohibits commercial links (mostly for links to a site that profits "you" directly). We moderators tend to have a low tolerance of such posts that may be considered SPAM (you'd be surprised at the number of spammers who sign up on Flyertalk and proceed to spread their "message" immediately).

Posts that violate the TOS of Flyertalk, posts that can be considered SPAM or offensive in anyway, can and will be removed. Notification may or may not happen especially with "SPAM"-like posts since they're more common with people whose only intent is to SPAM and they would have been permanently banned immediately - so why bother notifying. "Offensive" posts or those "insulting" another member are often also removed or edited - sometimes these are accompanied by notification via PM and other times not since it should be clear why it was done anyways. Also, please remember that "us" moderators are volunteers and as such we can be quite busy with other things that sometimes things are done when we're very time limited for stuff here on Flyertalk.

I don't know what to say about the comment about having to be gay to stay at PSP Westin. Perhaps it was a joke especially since your handle is probably one of the most "out" in all of FT.
