The best part of the story (unfortunately its not a joke), is that Maxthon browser is a user interface based on IE6! And Maxthon has been doing for years all the things that are supposedly "innovative" in IE7 - and does far more, to boot. More than Firefox as well.
In other words Microsoft was wasted years on IE7 - and hasnt gone anywhere.
So if you really find any of these features interesting you are far better off gettting Maxthon than messing around with buggy beta software from Microsoft.
Which features in Maxthon do you like more than IE7? I'm just curious, as I'm not a big fan of those IE wrappers like Maxthon and Avant.
For everyone who DOESN'T want to upgrade to IE7, be advised that MS will be pushing it as a high priority update. There's a separate notification, but you'll want to keep your eyes peeled. Details
