I fly it all the time and there has never been a meal from MHT or BOS to DTW. The flight is only 1:15 in the air so there really would not even be time for a meal service. Just be glad they have not put a couple RJ's on these routes...they actually would be good RJ routes because they are such short flights.
At some point last year, they were CRJ flights to/from MHT. I will normally fly MSP-BOS and then MHT-MSP return and there is always a meal there, but only since April when they switched from CRJ to 320. MHT-MSP is nearly 3 full hours in the CRJ. I also flew DTW-MHT once and it was also a CRJ. So let's hope they don't switch back to that a/c on these routes.
