The miles earned are sufficient to pay for the upgrades to business class, if upgrade space is available.
Not bad, not bad at all, a $550-700 roundtrip ticket for US-Europe-US in the front cabin without a dent to the mileage balance.
Since you asked GUWonder, i just booked similar itin coming back through houston for 736.90 CDN (536 USD++); and according to confirmation email this equates to 13,847 onepass miles.. (which gives me a total of 4 MR's in jan for a total of 47,929 onepass points..hopefully plat on nwa!!)
