What was the cost of the tickets routed like that?

The miles earned are sufficient to pay for the upgrades to business class, if upgrade space is available. Not bad, not bad at all, a $550-700 roundtrip ticket for US-Europe-US in the front cabin without a dent to the mileage balance.
