I thought the bar was quite silly too! I was in 12C which worked pretty well - one FA accidentally hit my cast when she gave my travel companion her meal and she felt horrible. I'm in row 12 again going back and am trying to move to the front area only because it's a few steps closer to the lav and on crutches, a bigger deal than normal.

Staff was pretty helpful (most helpful TPE-HKG) and service was good, but I agree with prior posts about feeling rushed. When I got to the club in TPE, the staff asked if I preferred the new 777 or the old 747 - I said that I thought the First seats were still better than the new premium laurel class, but that PL was better than Super Business to which all four standing there agreed.

Overall, I deem the new Premium Laurel class a good deal for the money and I'm glad I didn't have any stairs to deal with
