It's Microsoft. So with new features come new problems and security issues. IE6 is finally pretty much locked down. After 2 or 3 years and around 100 hotfixes and patches the browser has just a few vulnerabilities. Some of the vulnerabilities in IE6 were terrible.
If you use your computer for business or have stuff on it that you wouldn't want to be left out in the open I'd wait a few months to see how Microsoft did. I'm sure there will be some patches within a few weeks. And you can rest assured that the hacker/cracker/phreak scene is working hard at finding every single hole there is in the browser.
