There have been many discussion here of people's experiences sitting next to large passengers. Amazingly, there is an article in the Privium Update newsletter published by Schiphol Airport that uses language that would probably have gotten a post removed by a moderator on FT if it had been used here.
In an article in the October edition, the author speaks of waiting to board a flight with his daughter, and seeing an obese man in the waiting area. The article is essentially about the man's fears that the obese man will sit in the middle seat between the author and his daughter. Among other terms, the obese man is referred to as "that enormous, sweating pig" and "this panting monstrosity."
Somehow, I don' t think such terminology would be allowed in an official publication of an American airport.
