Btw, what are the "meal" window times?
There's no meal service between BOS and DTW (at least not on NWA!) only BOS and MSP.
Generally speaking, meals are served in FC on domestic flights with an actual flight time (takeoff to touchdown) over two hours. The published schedule lists block (or gate-to gate) times. The difference is tied to the amount of taxi time at each end. Subtract approximately 20-30 minutes (depending on the size of the airports involved) from the block time and you'll get a rough idea of the flight time. Clear as mud?
NWA tosses a wrench into the proceedings by scheduling meal service only during "traditional meal times", so a lot of the 2-4pm flights get beverages only. But not all...
So the short answer is check the website for your individual flight, because YMMV.
