I travel all the time, lots of time zones.

Here is the real issue. If the BB switches to local time, it adjusts the appointment times to match.

In other words, let us say you live in NY and travel to HKG. 12 hours difference to keep things easy.

You have all your dates and times set for a trip to HKG, which you enter while in NY. You get to HKG, and what should happen?

If you reset the BB, or if it did so automatically, all your appointments would now be 12 hours off. The noon appointment in HKG, which you entered while home, now shows up at midnight, which is noon at home.

So, I leave my time alone, which means for half the day in HKG I have to look at appointments for the next day, since NY has not caught up yet, but at least things happen at the right hour.

Anyone see a better solution? I don't think it is the fault of the BB, is it?

Maybe if you could have a setting that says "keep all appointments in their original time slots when changing time zones" might work.

Time shifting is a tough business.
