It will be my first time connecting at LAX and I'm afraid my connection time is short as it is only an hour and 37 minutes. I'll be arriving from San Jose on UA 6497 (terminal 8) and connecting to SQ 27 (Bradely terminal) to Taipei. I think T8 is probably the farthest from Bradley.
Here are my questions regarding the tight connection:
1. What's the fastest way to get from terminal 8 to Bradley? Should I take a taxi, walk/run, or take the free shuttle? Is the shuttle on arrivals or departure level?
2. I'm on a UA Business class award ticket and will have checked bags. Will I be issued a boarding pass at SJC? If so do I still need to check in with SQ at LAX?
3. What's the security wait times like at Bradley around 10PM? Is there a priority line for SQ Raffles passengers. I hear it's often like a zoo there.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance.
1. Fastest way from T8 is to take the shuttle. There is a free shuttle at the arrivals area. Look under Inter terminal shuttle or airline connections (I think its Green) make sure its only going to the terminals and NOT the parking lots.
2. You will not be able to get a BP at SJC. Go to the SQ desk (near security) at TBIT to get your BP. Double check with them to make sure they have your baggage claim numbers. You CAN check your bags thru to TPE.
3. There is no priority line for any premium passengers.
Have fun in TPE!
