Did that - worked great on my husband's, but it was after that that mine started having all sorts of problems (beyond just poor battery life). I've had it over 2 years, and it has been through a lot (dropped more than once, bounced around purse and luggage on innumerable trips, etc). I may try and replace the batter again, though, would be good to have a "spare" even if I do get a nano ...
