FWIW, I filed my first BFG request this morning. Orbitz was $250 less than NWA on a domestic F ticket. In less than three hours, my request was apporved, I had received my ECV, and my reservation had been revised to reflect the new fare. Even better, my Mesaba segments went from Q to Y, so I get even more EQMs out of the deal. All in all, an easy experience.
