Never mind the fact that this topics may have been posted in the wrong place. The bigger concern is -- what do people think about this sort of action?

1. I feel that if American buys Reno, they have the right to operate it as a separate company (much like Eagle) and pay their pilots based on Reno's union contract. They should not be required to bump up these pilots. American probably saved this airline from going under (if I remembe correctly, they are not very profitable).

2. The pilot slowdown (i.e. no overtime) is not going to get me angry at American but at the pilots. Stop acting like children (if I dont get my way, I am going to cry).

Any thoughts?
