I'd say the front section of CW on the lower deck is better than the back section (12-14 is better) because it's smaller (18 seats vs. 32). Also if going for a window seat, the back section is over the wing so the view is semi-obstructed and I think looking out while taking off and landing is a great experience.

Check out seatexpert.com...they say 14EF and 20EF are best for couples...but I'd say 14 is better due to the smaller section and not right in front of WT+ (babies)

The upper deck isn't claustrophobic at all. If you're in a window seat you have loads of space between you and the window where the bins are, if you're on the aisle, well the aisle is extra wide so you don't feel hemmed in.

I would always go upper deck over lower.
