My wife and I just did a Club World trip, upstairs. Although, as a previous poster mentioned, carrying a carryon up (if you have one) is a bit of an issue, she, who was in CW for the first time, loved the quiet and intimacy of the cabin. It may be just me, but I think the downstairs 747 CW is somewhat claustrophobic.
