CW in 3 class vs 4 class 777 - my £0.02 worth

OK, having managed to avoid the entire 777 fleet so far, over the last two and a bit weeks I found myself in club on both the three and four class variants.

On the way out it was the 3 class and we were in row 3. It all seemed fine, but a glance into the rear cabin and it looked really claustrophobic to me - a point that probably wasn't helped by a lot of people having window shades down on a daylight flight.

So the return was the 4 class and we were in row 15. The cabin was probably 75% full but what I noticed was that it seemed really spacious. I was sitting in 15B so could see the entire "sea of beds" infront of me. Again it was a daytime flight so this may have mitigated some of the dormitary feel to the place but many pax were hiding under the new duvets and it didn't look too bad to be honest.

Perhaps I was lucky under the circumstances but overall i'd only give the front cabin on a 3 class a very small lead over the 4 class...
