I am booked on a SFO-HKG-SIN round trip on UA metal; planned upgrades both ways on SW upgrades. One sector HKG-SFO has two C seats as of now; as a 1K competing with other 1Ks for the upgrade, would my date of ticketing assign me priority. A 1K agent told me if it came to a toss up between two 1Ks, the system would look at mileage accrued and assign priority, independent of when you ticketed. Was she correct?
