If so, looks like it will help me earn an additional 5 points per dollar spent above and beyond the original 5 points per dollar just for staying at this property.

For the annual fee of $65, you get 15k points right away plus 15 nights towards status, plus a free night certificate.

I already have 6 nights this year, plus my extended stay will net me another 63 nights (from October 30 thru December 31), plus the above mentioned 15 "bonus" nights will give me 84 for the year and PLATINUM status for the next year...correct?

Sounds like I should apply right away for this card, no?
