Don't know the exact date, but within the last two years. CASS is the computer program which allows airlines to validate employment. Not sure if it has an application over on the F/A side, but any CASS participating airline can pull up the info and photo on a pilot from another CASS participating airline right there at the gate. With a valid passport and my airline ID, I'm allowed to ride in the cockpit of any CASS airline (although not internationally....I believe....that gets into the gray area with lots of asterisks.....)
I'm now at CAL and have been up front with NWA, UAL, and Midwest in the past couple of months. Had Delta and a regional guy in my jumpseat last week coming up from Florida to New York......
