I am leaving Iowa for a new job in Ohio (a homecoming for my wife!!!). My new company is going to put me up in temporary housing for up to 90 days...and it will be at a Residence Inn in Westlake, Ohio.

My question revolves around how to get status and point credit for the stay...who has done this and what must I do to get it? My best guess is that I'll have to have both the room and charges in my name and use my credit card that I will then pass along the monthly charges to my company for reimbursement. That way, the room and method of payment are both in my name allowing me full access to the nights for status and the charges for Marriott Rewards points.

Am I missing anything here? Please help!!!
