And the Roemer is to be visited as a very beautiful place (just 200 m from main shopping-street Zeil)!
At Zeil visit the "Zeil Galerie" which is a very interesting shopping-mall (small but with many floors). The top floor has an imax cinema.
Fare for the S-Bahn to the city (you can also take any regional train stopping at the airport for the same fare; so you can get to the city about every 15 mins.) is about 3$ per person one-way.
BTW: just 15 mins. to the other direction with the S-Bahn are the cities of Wiesbaden and Mainz, which are also really interesting. Not so much shopping possibilities than FRA, but nicer towns.
Other possibilities from the FRA-Fernbahnhof (long distance trainstation):
1h to Heidelberg
2h to Cologne
with Intercity-Trains, Fare is about 12$ (Heidelberg) and 28$ (Cologne) per Person and way.
