As any large city Frankfurt has a big downtown shopping district. All well known stores and chains are there, located in a large pedestrian zone area. There are nicer citys than Frankfurt in Germany, but its good for shopping. The city is very easy accessible via the public s-bahn transport system. You might have to change trains in the central train station - depending on where you want to go. The underground trains leave at a lower level in FRA airport.
