I did a search, but didn't find any good thread to share this somewhat amusing, somewhat concerning tale.
I was on DSM-DCA this morning, sitting in 1B stretch my feet as best I could, with an empty 1A next to me. We're almost boarded, and the GA sticks her head in the cockpit and says "11C," waaaay back of the plane (at least he wasn't in my quasi-F seat

). No big deal, I caught it and assumed that was the FAM, but I'm a pretty sharp FTer.
Then a kid, 17ish, comes up from the back of the plane. Says there's someone in his seat, 11C. The GA checks his thing, then seats him next to me. Fine. Here's the incredible part...
...the GA steps onto the plane, making no attempt to really be quiet, and in earshot of at least the four of us in row 1, and perhaps row 2, says to the FA, "11C, that's your
armed individual, just so you know." I couldn't believe my ears.
Just thought I'd share - no point beyond that
