Another vote here for the Renaissance... Good breakfast in the lounge (although evening snacks were limited), great martinis in the bar downstairs (but spendy), and very good steak in the restaurant. Pool is not the best, because it is surrounded by the hotel itself -- but may be okay during the cooler months compared to when I was there in early summer.
I like to walk, so the hike back and forth to the strip helped wear off the food & drink.
I also stayed with a Savvy Saver rate, and will likely go back there to use the $100 coupon!
