I don't recommend it. As someone already posted, all U.S. flights are now arriving into and departing from 2E, which requires a long bus ride from the plane to the terminal, and then a long walk to get to the other terminals.

Last week, I flew JFK-CDG-FLR, with a connection time of one hour and five minutes. We were late getting out of JFK and by the time I finally arrived at terminal 2E (before getting on the long line at passport control), my connecting flight was taking off without me. I got on the next plane to FLR. My bag did not. Eight hours after I arrived at CDG, my bag finally arrived in FLR. I would never book that tight a connection at CDG again.
