Do you think BMI would accept to just give me the miles - and not travel - in case they cancel the flights.... or would they rather purchase the capacity from BA/AI/VS/9W?

Another thing I am wondering about.... I am actually wondering about A LOT of things - in these instances were they cancel their flights, would the other airlines be forced by some rules to accept the tickets (and same revenue) from BMI - as long as there is inventory in the same booking class?
