Every held itin effects inventory. If I hold a seat in S, and it's S1, it will be S0 unless I release the hold. Same for B, Y, C, F, etc.
I am flying tomorrow and i'm trying to fly out of ORD instead of SEA to NRT and F0 and C0. I have C to F upgrade on SEA to NRT but due to a change of plans I'm trying to fly through ORD. I talked to UGS and they told me that it is sold out in F and C. I can switch over to ORD to a C but with no guarantee of F upgrade. He did say that this could be affected by the held itin. I'm not sure if I should take the chance.
