Apartments could be very reasonable at that time, so consider them.
If you are interested in seeing some sights, try several walking tours.
The pub tours are fun, and can include a good dinner.
Prices for beer near the town center are bloated.
Shop for anything that you need at Tesco, not the small tourist stores.
Ride up to the castle on the trams, and walk down. Get a map with the tram numbers on the streets. It's priceless. If you will use the trams a lot, consider the Prague Card.
