Follow up -

I called Emirates to arrange the comp hotel room, and they tell me they can't do it, because there is an earlier connecting flight with availability in F.

Needless to say, I took it, and am now on the 2:45am (instead of the 8:45am) flight to SIN.

I wonder if their website was confused, or someone cancelled...
