Use the RCC to relax and do some work on my laptop. Sometimes I'll just walk around and people watch. I usually avoid the restaurants at airports unless i'm really hungry.
What do you love/hate about spending time at the airport?
I don't really "hate" anything about the airport. I like the airport experience for the most part, even if some things are a pain, everything can be made interesting. I do hate it when airports have crummy seating areas or seats that are older than dirt.
Without any limitations, what would make the experience less stressful and more enjoyable?
More outlets for sure. A WiFi provider that is the SAME in every airport, in fact free WiFi. Better designed security checkpoints. Interconnecting terminals at all airports.
What do you bring with you in your carry-on?
I always check a bag. A: Because I usually have tools in it, and B: because I hate carryons. I have a messenger bag I carry with my laptop, books, etc...
....or ANYTHING else you can think of.....
Big airports need a NICE restaurant. Something that's relaxing and that has good food. Also, all airports need a smoking section inside away from everyone so you don't have people lining the sidewalks smoking.
