According to senior vice president of Accomodation, Leighton Flat, United has entered an exclusive partnership with General Dynamics of Groton, CT. According to Mr. Flat, "General Dynamics has years of experience of designing space within the limited confines of a submarine. By leveraging General Dynamics unique skills, we will be able to introduce tiered bunks into our premium cabins. No other air carrier will be able to touch this innovative and unique UA/GD product!"
