Rules effective from October 27, 2001
The Swedish Market Court has ruled that effective October 27, 2001, SAS must revise the EuroBonus program with regard to points earned on Swedish domestic routes where other airlines compete with SAS and Skyways.

The ruling stipulates that points earned on such routes may not be exchanged for bonus flights, or other bonus offers.
However, they are still valid for upgrades to higher membership status in EuroBonus.

The ruling affects following routes and is subject to changes
• Luleå - Gothenburg
• Sundsvall - Gothenburg
• Stockholm - Gothenburg
• Stockholm - Kalmar, from September 11, 2006
• Stockholm - Kristianstad, from August 28, 2006
• Stockholm - Malmö
• Stockholm - Kiruna
• Stockholm - Luleå
• Stockholm - Ronneby
• Stockholm - Skellefteå
• Stockholm - Sundsvall
• Stockholm - Trollhättan
• Stockholm - Umeå
• Stockholm - Visby
• Stockholm - Växjö
• Stockholm - Ängelholm
• Stockholm - Östersund

How will this affect you as a member?
Points earned on the above routes after October 27, 2001 cannot be used for bonus flights or any other bonus offers.
You will still be able to exchange your points on above routes.
Members in other frequent flyer programs e.g Star Alliance airlines cannot reedem points earned in such programs for bonus flights with SAS or Skyways on the above routes.

Are there any exceptions?
Yes, there are exeptions and we will explain to you how it works.
If you travel with SAS or Skyways on routes above, and have a connecting flight same day within Sweden or with a international flight on a non-competetive route with our partners Blue1, airBaltic, Skyways, Widerøe, then you will earn redeemable points on the competetive routes. Here we have examples that explain the exceptions:
If you fly from Stockholm to Gothenburg and change your flight same day to London with SAS, then you will earn redeemable points also between Stockholm and Gothenburg.
