Even though it is usually a superior business practice to employ a novel product, I just don't see the seats themselves as a target anymore. Barring the introduction of in-flight yoga, there are only so many positions one can assume on an airplane: standing, sitting, reclining, or lying flat. All of these are already available in one form or another in the airline market. And before someone jumps on seating arrangement, that is another area that is already well-addressed. Airlines employ engineers and mathematicians to figure out the most cost-effective (read: allowing for the most seats) seating arrangement while still allowing for decent mobility about the C or F cabin.
At this point, I think seating is just down to a science of determining which position is most comfortable, so I give ^ ^ to our "unnamed tester" for realizing this. The new concept thing should be applied to other areas of the F or C experience. Any ideas?
