"Dusking" was the term used to describe the replacement of the old Cradle Seats with the flat beds starting in 2000.
The replacement of the crappy plastic dividers happened really early on for the reasons already posted. Then there was the re-upholstering gig that happened a couple of years ago.
I wonder what they'll call the new upgrade - "Wider dusking"?
Project Dusk was the launch of the NCW seat, Project Dawn was AFAIK the launch of the old cradle seat (so from Dawn to Dusk).
The white metal petals not only vibrated in turbulence but also "slapped" together during takoff and landing and caused a bit of a racket. This became apparent on the early New York "pre-implementation", which launched Project Dusk.
