The response by the FA? "Sure, and I'll ask them to give up their pension too. No, wait...."

Nice posting American Airlines or US Airways. I find the whole story impossible to believe. The FA's have a manifest that dictates status. As a 1K you would have been asked FIRST, employees are asked LAST what their meal prefference is.
