United can't put the F suites into the 767 fleet absent a costly (and performance-reducing) strengthening of the cabin floors. According to legend, when United conducted the necessary crash-strength testing to try to get the seats certified for the 767 years ago, the F Suites badly ripped up the floors of the cabin in such a way that would have killed anyone sitting in or near them.
