Is there something with this a/c type and the contact gates in BKK?

Though I saw some AB6 parked at the gates it still looked like the majority were parked at remote parking stands.
I arrived on an AB6 about a week ago and it took several minutes before they could open the door at gate A3. Both of my outbound trips used contact gates - an AB6 from gate A6 and a 734 from gate A3. On my last trip in, it was also an AB6 and got bused. Gate A3 was wide open, but there was an aircraft already parked at gate A6. I do believe there is some big technical problem with the contact gates, and you may be correct in that it has to do with certain types of aircraft and maybe only with certain gates.
