With QFF, a
Stopover is defined so:
'Stopover' in relation to:
(i) an Australian domestic Itinerary, means a break of journey at an intermediate point when onward travel does not take place on the same calendar day; and
(ii) for all other Itineraries, including those containing a domestic to international connecting flight, means when a passenger arrives at an intermediate point and is not scheduled to depart within 24 hours of arrival;
To put it another way, an international stopover is where the scheduled departure time of the onward flight is within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time of the incoming flight.
So the answer is ... NO!
On this, if you were to book LAX-xHKG-BKK in
WHY it would cost 56,000 QFF Points (+++). To book LAX-HKG-BKK (stopover) it would cost 70,000 QFF Points (+++).
