I swear my last 10 flights into ATL have been delayed "due to the runway construction". Why can't the new 5th runway take up the slack? This is starting to annoy me and you all know that I'm one of the few ATL defenders around here.

Does anyone know how long this construction is going to last? And when will the other runways start their
construction?

I knew about the new runway and the construction, but with 10 trips through Atlanta the past few weeks that ALL featured long delays, sprints to the connecting gate or missed connecting flights, I thought I'd just hit an extended run of bad luck. In all those journeys, the only thing that happened on time was the closing of the CRC.
