I'm also confused but in a different way.
How does the 500 mile mininum relate to Miles and Points?
I.E. I'm thinking about booking BOS-JFK-BOS at $120+ RT.
Does this get 187(actual)*2(RT) or 500(min)*2(RT) miles?
Does this get 187(actual)*.5(factor)*2(RT) or 500(actual)*.5(factor)*2(RT) points?
Or what?
I care most about the points, because I'm in the middle of a challenge.
