I think we all agree that it's great we can hold a reservation until midnight the following day on co.com. What I didn't know is that we can not hold 2 reservations for the same day!

I was holding a $232 fare for a trip to Miami (from EWR), and decided (for some stupid reason) to hold another one: same day, different flight.
Once I had done this, my $232 was gone. I was never prompted by the web site that it would happen. No: "are you sure? you will lose any other held reservation for the same day". It would have been nice. It would have been expected, actually, but no.

And now that it's done, of course, my fare is sold out, and it's $255 for the same flights. OK, a $23 difference is not much, but still, I'm pissed I wasn't warned (especially since at the beggining of the day, the same reservation would have actually been $208).

What do y'all think: fair? Not fa(i)r(e)?
Is it possible the price is gonna drop again?
