Merry: That's what I was wondering. But if most of my LH trips are in paid First Class, does Senator get me anything 'more'? Would I be treated better as a F/SEN than a F/*G or a Y/SEN?

If the levels for qualification for a US resident are 100K, and all my travel is in First Class, Senator status is mine for 34K...that's not a bad deal. And as I found a thread where Rudi explains the star Gold x2 bit, I can flip between UA and LH. So on a Shuttle, I can get free upgrades for a 1K, but after upgrading get my LH number in the system, and get the LH minimum miles.

Is the 100K level the same for both qualifiers and requalifiers, or does the Senator bonus count for status?

My basic question at this time is if most of my fares will be in paid First Class, is there any point in being senator?
