I've been using Equinox Great Neck (might actually be in Manhasset).
It was all new at the beginning of this year, but all the cardio and
strength machines were still in working order this weekend, and the
shower rooms are clean and not too crowded on weekend afternoons.

I'm satisfied with the quality. 24HR was costing me $28/mo, Equinox
is costing $110, not delighted with that, but will stick at it.
