Yesterday I bought a K ticket on the website, and at one point going through the purchase I was offered an upgrade to F for 30K miles. In the past I have seen options to upgrade for $, but never for miles. Since fare rules usually prohibit upgrading anything lower than B class, why would the website make an offer like this? Anyone know, or have a guess?
