I will be doing a "pseudo" mileage / status run and will have a bag to checkin.
Would I be able to do the following flights? ...more importantly, will my checked bag make it?

The FAQ on the QF website says "90 minutes to connect between domestic flights."

The QF multi city booking allows me to book the above flight sequence and if I try booking a connection time less than 40 minutes, it says the following: "The Minimum connecting time required is 40 minutes"

Anyone have personal experience?
