Just a heads up. When my CC card was stolen, they did a test fire by making a small donation to a random charity. When that cleared, they unloaded the big purchases (on the order of $1000).

I was lucky that my CC company (MBNA) caught the larger one and removed both charges. Might not be the case here, but just another reason to cancel the CC and get it re-issued.
