Currently in the DEN PClub and overheard an interesting conversation. Apparently Karl Rove swung through here last Saturday creating a small commotion. Secret service came into the Club, swept it and than the architect himself came in and went straight to a conference room with his SS entourage (perhaps they thought
bonehead was in the area
).
Anyway, I was a bit surprised when I heard this as I'd assume someone at that level would simply use private transport - especially if Secret Service escorts accompany them.
As such, I'm curious if anyone else has seen/heard of Sr. Politicians, SCOTUS Justices, Top Diplomats, etc. using CO's facilities - and if so – what is done differently to accommodate them, if anything?
