The physical plant is nice, I think it's nicer than the Crystal City property or at least comparable (though smaller). I haven't stayed at the Tyson's location. My last stay was before hitting gold so I can't vouch for status treatment, but I found the front desk folks excellent and very personable.

Didn't try the restaurant, this is local for me and really just a mattress run. The last stay I checked in, left my teenage daughter and a friend for a sleepover and went home for the night. They had a big room service breakfast, which they said was great.

Mt Vernon is less than an hour including traffic, would be a great half-day (or full day) trip.
