Here is my recap -
Food - The same. Perhaps slightly more choices, but no better, which is to say average.
Service - Come on, we are talking about AA International. As usual, my flight was staffed with poorly organized, unmotivated, older FA's.
Seat - no wider than the J seat. Somewhat shopworn. Non-functioning lumbar support. Lumpy when laying flat. Poorly placed audio plug.
In Flight entertainment - basic J, plus "oh would you like a movie" which was on well worn tape. I always pack 15-20 DVD's with my laptop, so IFE doesn't matter.
Now, I will admit that at 6-7 and 295, it is doubtful I will be comfortable in any seat. I just did not see that the 2 significant areas of F over J, that is the flat seat and slightly more IFE choices, are anywhere near worth it. Maybe if I had tried the other F configuration, I would feel differently.
Sounds like you got the coffins.
